"We all come into this world naked, screaming, and covered in blood. If you live your life right it doesn't have to stop there." I don't recall the movie.

Dana Gould, apparently, though it's not a name Fitz is familiar with.
...which isn't saying much.
Anyway! First TSW-esque/John Dies at the End-esque movie that occurs to Fitz is Jacob's Ladder, but you've probably already seen it.

Whoops, somehow I thought you meant movie quote and not movie. Jacob's Ladder is definitely good. On the more campy but still good movie is Reanimator, based ( loosely ) on an H.P. Lovecraft story.

Not movies, but still media, I recommend hppodcraft.com. It's the HP Lovecraft Literary Podcast, and its a really good 'cast going over all of HP's work in a very listenable way.

On a completely different note, here's a game that I played in the past that reminds me of TSW....Indigo Prophecy....(or Fahrenheit, depending on what part of the world you live in.) The opening monologue sounds almost exactly how my character would describe his entry into The Secret World!

Oo! A Jacob's Ladder fan! You are my friend forever, despite whatever I may claim on my taxes.
Indigo Prophecy was a great premise with solid atmosphere. I...felt really, really disappointed when it all broke down in the second half (had to rush for release, so I hear.) Still, definitely worth price of admission. Especially since it's, what, $10 right now?
In the interests of contributing something: Thomas Ligotti, a short story author whose collections are now available in e-pub format. Nails the cosmic horror feel that Lovecraft started, but eschews the racism and paranoia angle and instead colors everything with an absolutely crushing depression. There's very few outright scares and quite a bit of slowly building feelings of impotence and disgust wrapped up in delightfully surreal settings. Highly recommended when trying to waste a few hours at work.

Ok got's 2 shows that I think match the "kinda like TSW" requirment for you guys
first up Lost Girl which has incidentally just starting it's third season, secret societies of supernatural creatures fighting a hidden war, dark and ancient powers surfacing and all that goodness
secondly is an English show I doubt you guys have heard of called HEX, it's all about a girl called Cassie who discovers she is a witch.
I'd strongly recommend hunting it down if you can as the writing, atmosphere and comedy where excellent ((well first season anyway)) even has Michael Fassbender playing the lead bad guy, and has Thelma the best character EVER... basically the lead characters lesbian roommate who despite getting murdered in the first episode returns to haunt Cassie for the rest of the shows run providing some of the best lines in the show... and yes I do have a clip
and yes before you judge me this is the only clip I could find that wasn't the opening credits or something some fanboy spliced together with some random song they like
