From: Security To: All Field Agents
As of 0900 hours Tuesday the 7th field Agent Megan Pacelli has been officially classified as missing, the last confirmed sighting was in the early hours of Monday morning when she left the SenTaxx facility following the successful completion of operation 'Silent Partner' normally we would wait a little longer before initiating an alert however given the high risk factor of her last assignment the chances that foul play could have been involved are too high to ignore.
Foul play cannot be ruled out at this time especially given the complicated and adversarial relationship with whatever is left of SenTaxx, also the possibly has been raised of contamination by a foreign substance while moving through the SenTaxx facility, bearing this in mind agents Specter, Gabel and Marceau are required to report to medical for a check up at there earliest convenience.
I think it would be prudent to dispatch a small team to check out Agent Pacelli's home, it was her most likely destination after returning to new york and although she is not answering her home phone we cant rule out the possibly that she is still there and if she isn't the team will need to check and sanitize the location of any potential incriminating materials that could bring scrutiny to the company or our sponsors.
((this is an open forum rp join in or drop out as you like most of the action is likely to be done on the forums themselves just post whatever your characters are doing and I'll inform you of the results, also feel free to interact with one and other, banter, chat etc while you investigate... this is a bit of an experiment soooo we'll see how it goes.
Most of the initial action will take on the Tuesday evening as agents head to Megan's home to see if they can find her
*Slides a plate of cookies into thread in hopes of luring people in*))

((okies well this experiment is off to a bit of a rocky start but positive thoughts and all that lets get the ball rolling... also made it field agents on the initial message to be as inclusive as possible not limited to any one department))
Returning for lunch Anna notices the flashing image on her desktop and opens it quickly reading the message, frowning she pulls up Pacelli's file to familiarize herself with the missing agent.
Quickly hunting down her earpiece amongst the general clutter on her desk Anna connects to the AEgir comms system ready to provide support to anyone responding
"Anyone out there? I've got directions to Pacelli's apartment... luckily it's close-ish to the office, if needed and I can pull up another information you need just ask.."

((I could certainly throw Colette at this, but would really like to see someone else pick up this ball and run with it! I've already got a lot on my RP plate and am hoping others will take this opportunity for some forum RP goodness. And besides, core's offering cookies! You know you want some! ))

It is the wee hours of the morning when Victoria steps out of the Horned God. The biting London air is ever more vicious during such hours, causing her to tighten her coat with little immediate effect. "Shoulda brought a sweater," she mutters, sending white puffs of breathe into the air. She pauses to yawn, taking in an uncomfortably chilly gulp of air before marching briskly towards the 'special' subway station. The Temple district, while quiet compared to daylight hours, still sees a fair amount of activity. Not that she was concerned for her well-being. Templar stomping grounds or not, it is still neutral territory.
As Victoria enters the slightly warmer confines of the subway station lobby a short while later, her phone buzzes with the incessant vigor of a crazed ak'ab against her hand, which had been hiding in her coat pocket along with her phone for the sake of avoiding frostbite. The phone is in her hand almost immediate and a few swipes of her thumb reveals the source of the commotion. After reading the message, she hums thoughtfully, then with good cheer, types and sends her response.
"Coffee," she then decides and pockets her phone once more.

Well if jet lag is annoying Agartha lag can be a killer one moment it's a cold English evening the next it's a warm and sunny New York afternoon, however Anna is on the money and the trip to Pacelli's apartment is short thanks to the conveniently placed subway stop just across the street from the warehouse that hides Agartha's exit. The building itself is fairly nondescript and the surrounding area seems nice and quiet at the moment, no police cordons or panicking neighbors which is a promising sign, at least if something has happening to Detective Pacelli it must have been very low key... that or she never made it home in the first place... the comms crackle to life again "Ok she lives on the top floor apartment 15... you can try the front door if you life... although it's most likely going to be locked or if I'm reading these plans right there is a fire-escape round back you might be able to climb up and force open the window and get into her apartment that way"

Vi hums thoughtfully as she circles around towards the back of the building. With a belly full of coffee in her system and surrounded by a warm and sunny afternoon, she suddenly felt a lot better, if a tad disoriented. "Good idea," she replies cheerily, "I doubt she's the type to hide a spare over the door frame or anything." A pause, "She isn't the type, right?"
Regardless of the answer, she reaches the back and takes a few moments to study the side of the building and the immediate surroundings for anything out of the ordinary, or for anyone that might be looking in her direction. Last the she needed was for some random pedestrian calling the cops. Once satisfied that nobody was watching, she charges the wall. A jump and a wall-hike later, she grabs onto the metal bars of the fire escape and hauls herself up and over the railing.
As she begins her climb up the step ladders she keys in her comm, "So. Anything else I should be aware of? Jealous exes. Angry rivals? Stalkers?"

"hmmm let me check" sound of clicking keys and Anna pulls up the information "no... she's single according to the file and has been for at least the last few months since she joined the company... before that not a clue... as for enemies, well she was a homicide cop so I'm guessing there's some bad people probably out there that don't like her much, also there's SenTaxx..." sighs softly "guess there's a good few suspects that might want to go after her"

((Being in the arcane department & not really knowing Megan, Beryl shouldn't really have a interest in this case… so I'm making it a chance encounter.))
"yea, there's someone climbing your fire escape", Beryl pointed to the back of the building from a burger shop across the street with a clear view of the fire escape. "see? Over there, she's heading up to the top I think", Beryl pointed at the figure moving up the stairs from behind the an unlit neon logo resembling a behind an unclean window of the shop.
"Those punks.", the balding, chubby landlord's face flushed like a ripe tomato. "Hey, that’s what neighbours are for right?", Bob shrugged behind the counter as he flipped the patties on his grill. The door swung open with the ring of the bell attached to the frame, Bob's wife had returned from her errands. "Beryl, go with Mr.Korpikoski, I don't want him handling any punks by himself.", Bob pointed at Beryl, "First sign of any trouble, you call the police alright?". Beryl gave a curt nod "Mmuh K", Beryl stuffed the rest of the burger in her mouth and opened the door for the waddling landlord.
Linda emerged from the back room with a cloth and spray bottle to clean up where Beryl ate, "Oh, Beryl forgot her phone." Linda held up the phone, "She'll be back for it", he dismissed her concern over the sizzling of the grill as Linda slipped the phone in a locked drawer for safekeeping.

((psst Liq the first post is a priority alert to everyone in AEgir's special divisions including Arcane asking them to look into the fact that a company employee is awol, so you don't need a special reason to be responding or to even know Megan at all beyond she is a fellow agent, also bringing a civilian along is a tad unwise... it will likely end with someone like Jean in security yelling at you a lot and needing to possibly make him disappear, if you could just drop the landlord part all is well ))

We have an agent, maybe two, already on route but as we still don't know whats happening the more people we have on the ground the better I guess, your the security operative so I'd defer to your judgment.
Actually there was one thing, you were part of the SenTaxx raid right? that probably one of the last people too see Megan before she disappeared, how did she seem to you?
