((Carl: Tess and Sera arrived in the Bahamas late Saturday evening. Tess had leased a private yacht and the two of them departed for the Bermuda Triangle. There have been the usual rumblings about missing ships and the like in the Triangle, but no reports of any piracy in the area recently.
Core: Megan is able to get the body onto the helicopter for further examination. Will update later once she is able to get it back to port
Kover: The rescue operation has now become a salvage op. Still no sign of Tess/Sera. Crews are working to salvage as much of the yacht as possible. It looks like the explosion was caused by an IED. That doesn't seem like the Phoenician's MO as they would bring their own explosives. It's likely that Sera or Tess rigged the bomb themselves))

((Core: The guy is mundane. No anima powers presented. Cause of death: multiple gunshot wounds. His equipment is standard Phoenician issue. Tactical armor, rifle and side arm, combat knife. There's no scuba equipment or rebreather so you can rule out amphibious assault. Seems they brought their own ship
Vik: There weren't any contracts circulating around asking for a hit on Tess. You're not that surprised by this though, since it's likely that whoever orchestrated this wouldn't want to tip their hand by putting out an open ad))

To: Investigations, Security, AA&S From: Lucy Randall RE:Emergency Hey, it's Lucy. I had the PIT do some digging into the Phoenician connection to try and find a motive for attacking the boss or Ms Gabel. Some thoughts: - Early in her career Tess had a run-in with a Phoenician agent over an Illuminati data cache. Gun fire was exchanged but both parties were forced to retreat when the Sponsors showed up in force but not before Tess wounded the agent.
- Shortly after Noel left the company, Tess brokered a deal between the Phoenicians and the Templars for the return of stolen 3rd age tech to the Templars
- Ms Gabel does a lot of wet work for the Sponsors, including more than a few hits on Phoenicians
Could be revenge for any of the above. Or they could just be mercs working for someone else who has a grudge against the boss, or Ms Gabel, or AEgir. It might be worth looking into further.

((Saki talked to Vi about doing a reading to help locate Tess and Sera. This is the document she sends to Vi, who I'm assuming would share.))
Hey, Vi! Here's what I have, but let me highlight the key discoveries first. The actual cards are listed below, and my interpretation of them, as well.
So Tess and Sera are alive. I feel like they're alone somewhere, maybe in nature because the Stone Nine card suggests that sort of retreat. Mistakes were made. I'm not sure they know where they are, but whoever tried to get them probably doesn't know, either.
Okay... Onto more detail!
Obviously, the first card is what you're looking for—which is answers. The second card says that more haven't been found, I believe, because this search is personal for a lot of us, and so we're worried. That anxiety is keeping us from reacting as calm and coolly as maybe we should be, and that may have prevented us from seeing things clearly. The third card indicates to get the answers we need, we just have to work for them.
The good news, according to the fourth card, is that everyone reacted quickly, so the trail is still fresh. I think Ammie and Vik heading out right away was actually a good call, but casting your net wide to include others has also been helpful, according to the fifth card. The sixth says that the group you've assembled is courageous and won't give up.
The seventh card indicates that everyone is frustrated right now. Not enough clues have turned up yet, and again... we're worried. Some of us (probably Ammie and Vik, but I don't know what others are doing) may even be putting themselves in danger. All in all, though, the eighth card tells us that this teamwork will pay off—everyone is willing to work their hardest, add creativity and heart; and this this dedication will motivate everyone to work hard to see this through.
Card nine tells me that we need to look at where mistakes have been made, and make sure that we're not trying anything that we're not really capable of accomplishing. You mentioned Phoenicians? This card also speaks of broken agreements. Is there any sort of truce that might have been or is being violated here? Just a thought.
The tenth card is a strange one, because it should be telling us what we should do next—and yet it indicates a screw up. It implies a couple of things – in terms of Tess and Sera, I think they might be lost. It's something that you guys should consider in your search. The other thing it suggests is that any adversaries involved are not operating as a well oiled machine—not even close. This might be something exploitable.
The key, or last card, tells us that... Tess and Sera are alive. I don't think they're in danger at the moment, and most likely in nature somewhere. This card usually indicates a break from society, so I'm guessing they could be a bit isolated. Maybe they made it to shore somewhere? We just need to keep this in mind.
1. What I would like to achieve. Lady of the Lake – Knowledge, Enlightenment, Wisdom 2. What is blocking me from achieving it? Stone Seven – Fruitless speculation, anxiety over efforts, lack of fulfillment, fear of failure 3. How I unconsciously block myself. The Wounded King –Wisdom gained through hardship and experience, spiritual insight 4. What I have already achieved. Spear Eight – Swiftness, expediency 5. What helped me achieve it? Spear Ten – Responsibility, resolution by test of fire, delegating to others 6. How have I helped myself? Spear Seven – Courageous ability, success despite opposition, tenacity 7. The way my idea is received by others. Stone Five – Adversity, strain, barren prospects, the need for firm instinctive grounding before taking action 8. Who will benefit from my idea? Grail Maiden - She is tender and willing, imaginative and loving, and exemplifies the way of service 9. How I can revisualize my idea. Grail Five – Dissolution, disappointment, the ability to learn from mistakes and assess one's limitations, broken agreements or promises 10. The next step. Sword five – Defeat, slander, cowardice, divisive means, unethical behavior, sloppy or malicious thinking causes plans to go awry 11. The key which will unlock the door to achievement. Stone Nine - Accomplishment, enjoyment of solitary pursuits, love of nature, ease

((Conjecture based on investigations so far:
In the mundane world (which can't be ruled out), we'd start scanning for nearby islands. Because the pirates didn't fly in, and we only found Tessera's yacht, there's a possiility that they took the pirates' craft and headed for land somewhere - hopefully the "lost in nature" thing means they made it to an island. Technically, adrift on the open sea is "lost in nature" too.
Sonar scans of the ocean floor below the Yacht show no sign of a freshly sunk vessel. They wouldn't have detonated the boat unless they had an escape route. And they wouldn't have gone seperate ways, so there's nothing like Tess using an Anima rez and Sera swims for it (Sera isn't a Bee). So I think the most viable solution at this point is that they took the pirates' craft.
There are various islands and Atolls in the area. Ammie, Vik, and Meg are beginning an investigation.))

((A search team consisting of Vik, Ammie, and Megan have been scouring the Triangle searching for Tess and Sera. They were assaulted by a high speed skiff operated by Phoenician soldiers. They managed to disable the boat, kill 2 of the assailants and capture the third. After some "aggressive interrogation" they determined that the Phoenicians don't have Tess and Sera are are currently searching for them as well. They also found a map of the surrounding area which includes several islands that are X'd out. Indicating the Phoenicians have searched there. They also have a radio which they don't have the access codes to.
When questioned about why they attacked Tess and Sera, the Phoenician soldiers simply said they were "following orders"))

To: Investigations From: Victoria Vega CC: Teresa Auerbach, Amaryllis Wicker, Garvik Hreverssøn Subject: Answers While I'm glad that we have Tess and Sera back safely with us, the fact still remains that we know next to nothing about why the attack happened in the first place, nor do we have any assurances that this was merely an isolated incident. I'm going to assume that I'm not the only one who wants answers. To that end, I want to open an investigation on the perpetrators of this attack. Ms. Randall has already uncovered a few possible leads and motives, based on what we were able to glean from the surviving mercenary that Ammie, Megan and Vik encountered during their rescue operation. I have attached the relevant information below. - Early in her career Tess had a run-in with a Phoenician agent over an Illuminati data cache. Gun fire was exchanged but both parties were forced to retreat when the Sponsors showed up in force but not before Tess wounded the agent.
- Shortly after Noel left the company, Tess brokered a deal between the
Phoenicians and the Templars for the return of stolen 3rd age tech to the Templars. - Ms Gabel does a lot of wet work for the Sponsors, including more than a few hits on Phoenicians.
As you can see, so far all we have is conjecture, so it is absolutely vital for us to uncover as much of this mystery as possible and prevent any future attacks on our CEO or any other member of this company. Carl, I'll leave the details to you and our investigators, but know that you have Security's full support. Surveillance, protection, strike teams, you name it, you'll get it. Nobody gets away with attacking our people. Victoria Vega Chief of Security, AEgir Communications

To: Victoria Vega CC: Investigations, Teresa Auerbach, Amaryllis Wicker Subject: RE: Answers
While the Phoenicians have without a doubt been the party that carried out the assault, I would like to remind everybody involved in the investigation that they are primarily mercenaries - working for the highest bidder. While the current evidence hints at past fallouts between some of our personnel and New Carthage it should not be discarded that a third party merely using the Phoenicians' services could be behind all of this. They are a profit-oriented organisation and would not carry out a hit if it would not benefit them in a suitable way - stirring up past hostilities is certainly NOT profitable, so either they have very good reasons to do so or someone is waving a high enough paycheck in front of their noses.
