(Interestingly enough, the people in the Illuminati’s trust get a slightly different version of this application, shown with the (), as…well, shown here, really)
Online Employment Application:
Thank you for your interest in joining the team at AEgir Incorporated, a group of dedicated professionals specializing in extraordinary situations.
To ensure prompt processing of your application, please answer the following questions:
Name (including aliases as appropriate): Sarah Fredrick (Designated Freefire in experiment [redacted] She’s unaware about the designation)
Age/Gender: Female, 22
Position Desired: Secretary or assistant, field investigations department. Will volunteer for field duty as needed. (Don’t mistake this for a request. She needs training, and far more importantly, we would like to see how she handles her new abilities. Or how they handle her)
Relevant Skills:
3 month combat training. (Magical combat as the focus. Trying to get her to do hand to hand proved amusing, if a complete failure. We haven’t given her firearms as we don’t want her to shoot herself in the foot yet)
3 years as secretary for [redacted] (Former front company)
Relevant Background Information:
Born in Portland, Oregon
Worked in [redacted] for 3 years
Magical abilities shown 3 months back
(Gained while unknowingly part of experiment [redacted] Took her long enough to actually show them. If you’re athourized access for it, don’t worry about her and using Agartha, we’ve fixed the technical problem where they exploded)
Contact Information:
Cellphone: [redacted]
Email: [redacted]@yahoo.com
(You know where to contact us)
Next-of-Kin None. (Only close relative, mother, died in 2009. We didn’t do it.)

Thanks for applying! We're a group of roleplayers who find MMORPGs more fun to play when the roles of our characters are more fully developed than a list of numbers to define their survivability and damage. Members of the group will be expected to play and converse in-character (IC) for group activities, using notation such as (( )) around text intended to be out-of-character (OOC) so that it's clearly recognizable. We're seeking players who are mature, low-drama, and interested in character development as well as game progression!
Please take a minute to look over our Rules And Tone page--there's not a lot of rules, but if you're part of the group, you'll be expected to follow the few rules that we've got while you're representing us with the group's handle.
To help us get a feel for who you are and what you'd like to get out of being part of the group, please answer the following questions:
1. How much experience do you have with roleplaying? Have you played other MMORPGs? There's no wrong answer here.
Yes. Very yes. Most of you know where, both for the RPz and the MMOs.
2. What has brought your character to the group? Do you have any stories/ideas that you hope to develop for them as they progress through the game, and if so, what are they?
In case it wasn’t obvious, Sarah is part of an experiment to create magical agents with all the abilities of normal ones, but without relying on the bees to just decide to buzz a random person and hope they can grab them before the other two groups do. Anyone finish Gravity in the theme park? Yeah, (very) vaguely similar to that. She’s supposed to be cheerfully naïve about most things, but we’ll see how it goes. God knows enough character concepts ran away from me the minute I started RPing before. And for the skimpy app, mainly because such things as “worked at several coffee shops”, “Never entered college” or, “is far too good at poker” didn’t seem appropriate to put in there. I also get far too nervous submitting apps, so hey.
3a. Fill in the blank: If my character were to meet an Eldritch Horror From Beyond Space And Time, he/she would probably:
Possibly shut down entirely. Or, like usual, act like nothing is wrong and cheerfully zap it.
3b. Fill in the blank: If I were to meet an Eldritch Horror From Beyond Space And Time, I would probably:
Realize that for unimaginable horrors that humanity can’t comprehend, they’re pretty mundane. Then run, since the claws and fangs are not to be ignored.
4. How did you find out about us, and how would you like for us to contact you in-game?
Other peoples. And use smoke signals, please. in seriousness, since I won’t have the game for at least 4 days, probably not in awhile. But a tell at Rippcage would work once I do get it. No idea if I’ll get Freefire, since while I got her appearance down, she still has Sideshot as a name.
5. Have you ever wanted a chance to just say whatever you'd like to about yourself to a group of anonymous strangers over the internet? If so, here's your chance!
