Name (including aliases as appropriate):
Tiev Zukovsky, reports filed under the flag "Aleryn".
Age/Gender:
35, Male
Position Desired:
Human Resources or Field Investigation. My strength is working with building contacts and investigation into them.
Relevant Skills:
*pulls out a thesauruses before deciding that isn't going to help*
Russian Federal Security Service for 13 years. The FSB works comparably to the American FBI in activity list mostly dealing with investigation into any internal threats though many had external connections.
Worked heavily with investigation work into an organized crime group which went under many alias. Smuggling, kidnapping, drugs... all that fun stuff.
Used skills to do some side detective work for various groups before going fully into the Illuminati which helped expand contact list..
Not a fan of magic as that stuff causes all sorts of problems. Inter dimensional rifts, evil racoons... always prefer to use a good rifle. .. and grenades.
Relevant Background Information:
As said briefly before my main focus ended up being on a rather deeply entrenched crime syndicate which had connections to the United States. Investigating this, along with some of the more "unnatural" situations in those out of the way villages, brought about the attention of the Illuminati whom I worked with on several occasions. 7 months after leaving the FSB and relocating to America I was officially approached for a job with them which I declined at first but quickly realized (as they knew all along) that I could not stand by and let this "Secret world" take over completely.
All immigration and work visas are up to date thanks to our mutual friends.
Contact Information:
Sticky notes are my favorite but you can reach me here *scribbles down a note*
Next-of-Kin (optional):
Well I do have this potted plant in my apartment... oh and there's my weapon case but other than that, not anyone that is in contacting range.
((OOC section))
1. How much experience do you have with roleplaying? Have you played other MMORPGs? There's no wrong answer here.
8ish years but off and on. Played several MMO's but the main ones are LOTRO (Acted as RP officer in a guild for 10 or so months), SWTOR (Guild master for 6 months. Don't think I want to do that again ), Fallen Earth (Ran around in a cowboy hat for no reason, And sort of CoV (practiced evil laughing for a month). Always enjoyed more friendly RP
2. What has brought your character to the group? Do you have any stories/ideas that you hope to develop for them as they progress through the game, and if so, what are they?
With Aegir's specialization in communications/contact building and ties to the Illuminati it seems like a logical step for Tiev who used to be burnt out after his stint in the FSB. Work with this company provides a new life where his skills can actually be used with others to bring about more good.
Russia has all sorts of tucked away corners after all and old mysteries.. that explosion in the 1920s for example "the Tunguska event".... Lots of interesting background to work with there
As for stories well I really love to do detective work. Companies always have need of someone who can investigate clients right? As a very nosey person I greatly enjoy finding out about people and getting to know them, and this game has so many little niches such as the gun shop and Haitian restaurant in London. Perfect for a good old fashioned meet Gotta love a good detective story and of course, Max Payne (Not the movie!!). In general though I like to build up contacts with some of the more easy to miss players and help them get into things.
I actually got to do a bit detective work already when hired to look into someone in the Horned god. sadly my client seems to have disappeared so... possible murder? hmm, the plot thickens
3a. Fill in the blank: If my character were to meet an Eldritch Horror From Beyond Space And Time, he/she would probably __________.
Throw a taco at it because it's like a hamburger but shaped like a smile and how can you be angry holding a smile? mmm, who else wants tacos now?
3b. Fill in the blank: If I were to meet an Eldritch Horror From Beyond Space And Time, I would probably __________.
What if I am the Eldritch horror? Plot twist! *cue dramatic music and evil laughter* hahahaha.. mwuahahaha... hehehehe err wait, where were we?
4. How did you find out about us, and how would you like for us to contact you in-game?
A friend came across this group on TSW-RP and I felt an instant "Ooooo" about it. I've spent the last few weeks thinking about it as joining a guild is a big thing, and from what I've seen you all are a great group I like how it's RP based but in a friendly sort of way in that you actually like each other As for contacting sure! Always up for a conversion, and I'll bring the tacos! you bing the napkins, make shift picnic time! I might be a little tricky to catch this weekend, but feel free to contact me here or there anytime! Spoke to Shay for a while today and we broke many a tacos.
5. Have you ever wanted a chance to just say whatever you'd like to about yourself to a group of anonymous strangers over the internet? If so, here's your chance!
I tend to name random food objects in MMO's that accidentally linger too long in my packs and introduce it to people. On LOTRO it's Frank the Tater *hugs tater*
