Relevant Background Information:
I've been told that reading myths, lore, and other 'useless' things were… well, useless. I believed that myself, until I scored a 4.0 on Innsmouth's entrance exams.
There were two groups in Innsmouth, the rich kids, and the gifted ones. I was neither, I was only there because Innsmouth found me. It came in the mail, on the year I had to move up to high school, I still remember the triangular envelope, the exquisite paper reminding me I was scheduled for an entrance exam when I've never heard of the school, let alone apply for it.
I never wanted to go to the exam, but after reading the part where they would pay for everything if I was admitted, we were on our way to Solomon Island before the day was up. We found some cheap motel to stay in for the night, and I was writing the exam the next day.
The exam, nothing like I have ever seen before, an exam which I knew all the answers, one that made me feel… smart. Unlike most 'normal' people, I've read, parapsychology, metaphysics, parascience - my daily digest for years. Who would have thought memorizing the ninety-nine syllables of a Babylonian demon's true name would come in handy? Though it was the critical though process which caught their attention, crossing J.B. Rhine's occult theories with Stephen Hawking's quantum mechanics, I was basically writing out nerdy fanfic for the exam.
Fast forward to the week before exams of grade 12, past the feelings of being left out, and the hours spent reading books in the library alone. The gifties approached me, they were desperate to pass their finals. Astral projection was the answer, look over the exams, memorize the answers, in and out, back in our bodies, simple as that.
But things were never that simple, building with a history going back hundreds of years, seals in-between the walls, spectres wandering the halls. That's how I ended up in the body of one of the gifted students - but that’s a story for another time.

1. How much experience do you have with roleplaying? Have you played other MMORPGs? There's no wrong answer here.
I don't have much experience with Rping on an MMO, but I have done a bit of story writing, and Rping on forums. I also love to tell stories, and GM for various paper and pen RPGs, mostly star wars related.
2. What has brought your character to the group? Do you have any stories/ideas that you hope to develop for them as they progress through the game, and if so, what are they?
Obsessive compulsion to find the best tasting paranormal meat in the secret world.
Collect, every, single, piece of lore.
3a. Fill in the blank: If my character were to meet an Eldritch Horror From Beyond Space And Time, he/she would probably take a picture first, and ask questions later.
3b. Fill in the blank: If I were to meet an Eldritch Horror From Beyond Space And Time, I would probably run.
4. How did you find out about us, and how would you like for us to contact you in-game?
Found out about you guys from the TSW forums. As for contact, either send me mail, or add me as a friend and whisper in my ear.
5. Have you ever wanted a chance to just say whatever you'd like to about yourself to a group of anonymous strangers over the internet? If so, here's your chance!
Bacon Pancakes.
