To: Ægir Communications From: Beryl Blyde Subject: Tibetan Buddhist Magic Classification excursion To all this may concern, As a new member to Ægir's Arcane division, I wish to take the initiative to begin a project on the classification of Tibetan Buddhist Magic in the mountains of the Northern Chinese province of Tibet. I would formally like to request finical, as well as human resources to make this project possible. As Tibet has opened up recently to the international stage recently, I believe that this would be an ideal time for Ægir to advance the understanding of one of the most least studied forms of Arcane. Should this proposal be accepted, I would like to further discuss the budget and the nature of the excursion at Ayiti: Haitian Food in London on a date and time that would be suitable to all the parties who are interested in joining this excursion. regards, Beryl Blyde ((This is actually a cover for Beryl's attempts to locate Shambhala - Full RP thread: aegir-communications.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=stories&thread=355 ))

To: Beryl Blyde From: Teresa Auerbach CC: Ken Loper Subject: Shambhala
Ms Blyde, As per your request I took a look into the Shambhala matter for you. I'm afraid that I'm no closer to giving you an exact location, but I can at least point you in the right direction.
Various sources place the actual location of Shambhala anywhere from The Arma mountains of Afghanistan, to The Atlai Range in Siberia, to the Sutlej Valley in India. However given how closely the mythology of Shambhala is linked with that of Agartha, it is my theory that these various locations merely house Agartha portals that link Shambhala.
This fits with the idea of Shambhala not simply being a physical place, but rather a state of mind that only those who have attained the proper karma may reach.
The following is a quote by the Dalai Lama regarding Shambhala
I surmise that when he speaks of "special affiliation" what he actually means is Gaia's chosen. As you know, only those selected by the Bees can freely pass through Agartha, and given Agartha's strong connection to Shambhala the theory fits.
As far as your desire to find Shambhala without the use of Agartha; I wish you the best of luck. I'm a detective and journalist, not an archaeologist. I would recommend starting your search near the Mcleodganj area of the Dhauladhar mountain range in Tibet, as the modern consensus is that Shambhala is located somewhere in that area.
I have CC'd Ken Loper. Ken's in my department and he is an Archaeologist. Perhaps he can offer you some insight that I may have missed. I wish you luck in your efforts to find Shambhala.

To: Beryl Byde From: Ken Loper CC: Teresa Auerbach Subject: Re: Shambhala
An interesting proposal to be sure. To be honest, I had never thought of the possibilities inherent to my recent supernatural transformation as they might relate to paranormal archaeology. Pararchaeology? ....someone trademark that.
However, I must admit that my focus has always been on the Mediterranean region. When it comes to the archaeology of southern Asia, I am completely lost. I find the amalgam of cultures in India to be fascinating, but it simply was never where my interests lay.
Despite this, I may have one thing to add to Ms. Auerbach's theories. I believe that one must take into account the joining of the Indian subcontinent to that of the greater Eurasia landmass. It is completely possible that, when they collided to form the Himalayas (which they are still doing), a subterranean chamber might have been formed somewhere in their interior. It should be noted that the planet moved India away from what is now Africa and towards Eurasia at a rate more than double the average plate speed; indeed, so fast that geologists believe that the subcontinent sheered as much of half of it's total mass away in the journey. It is possible that this was done a purpose by whatever controls the ....whatevers.
Again, just a theory. I am not well versed in occult matters, nor do I know more than the smattering of geology you learn when you train to dig shit up for a living. But if I were looking for something important to Tibetans, then it makes sense to look to what makes Tibet the natural wonder that it is.

P.S. If you encounter a yeti up there, kindly leave it alone. They probably think of humans as an entire race of paparazzi by now.

Hey B think we met briefly at the God a few days back, if your interested in Shambhala I do have a large collection of occult documents mostly scanned in and saved as high quality pdf's, if you like I can dump anything I have on Shambhala onto a flashdrive and get someone to drop it off at your desk.
If nothing else I have a few diaries from explorers that claim to have been there, some rare religious texts and a couple of treaties on the nature of Shambhala that kinda thing hopefully there will be something in there that you can use, normally there would be a charge but my days of information trading are mostly over and hey us AEgir's need to stick together and all that, virtual fist bump
