Name (including aliases as appropriate):
Henry Kenneth (H.K.) "Forty-Seven" Davenport
Age/Gender:
37 years old; Male
Relevant Skills:
Roughtly one year of experience as an Illuminati Field Agent.
Roughly One year of experience with Chaos Magic.
20+ Years of experience involving Detroit-based gangs and underground gambling circuits.
Several months experience as an recruiter for Oculi Omniscentia.
Achieved the highest rank amongst his peers within Oculi Omniscentia prior to its dissolution.
Relevant Background Information:
For awhile there, H.K. had managed to escape the death spiral he had been engaged in. His recruitment into the Illuminati had been a mess; such a mess that those in charge had nearly written him off. Unfortunately, for them, Henry was tenacious, stubborn, and difficult to shake off once he'd latched onto something. For the first time in his life, he felt as though he...Belonged.
There was no way that it could last.
Even after people in Oculi Omniscentia started disappearing, it took the vanishing of someone close to him to make H.K. realize that it might be an inside job. He had been taught, for quite some time, that everything was a test and sought to pass the test by maintaining his regimen.
There was no way that could last either.
He searched everywhere, but never found a single "survivor". And convinced as he was of their demise, he soon found himself sitting in an armchair near the door to his apartment; bottle of bourbon in one hand and wispy green energy swirling around the other.
He waited for an entire week, barely moving an inch from that chair. After that week, he finally took a few tentative steps outside. It was fairly clear that no one was going to come busting through his door; no one was coming back for him and everyone that he had known was dead. With nothing left save for that hefty Illuminati paycheck, Henry fell back into his old ways:
Alcoholic, foul-mouthed, filthy, and psuedo-homeless.
In spite of all that, however, Henry has been an exemplary member of the Illuminati. His affinity for Chaos magic has lead him to experiment with it to moderate success. What he lacks in tact or intellect he makes up for with street smarts and a sort of hobo's charm. He has experience garnered from Oculi Omniscentia that, in spite of his best efforts, he has failed to completely cast off.
Handy H.K. Davenport Reference Guide!:
- Henry has lived a long, hard life full of drugs and alcohol. Beyond just knowing how to have fun, this sort of life has made him more resistant to a number of anesthetics, poisons, etc. in the process.
- Henry is limited with his Anima projection capabilities. Put simply: If it ain't Chaos, it ain't happening. While this has crippled his development, it has meant that he's put MUCH more focus on his sole magical prowess than most others may. This does not mean he can't utilize martial weaponry...But other magic? That simply isn't possible for him at this point in time.
- He's used to sleeping outdoors; surviving in relative wilderness. Even after his first days in the field, Henry was quickly proving to be the only one brave or stupid enough to maintain a constant presence in Kingsmouth Town and elsewhere. He made a name for himself, amongst the other members of O.O., by a willingness to spend days in the field with limited food or sleep.
- Henry can be a difficult person to get along with; he lacks class and a whole lot of social etiquette. On the other hand, however, he's incredibly loyal and displays an almost uncanny knowledge in a range of topics both inane and useful. He's convinced that he's capable of thinking simply; allowing him to succeed where those who are too logical and intelligent end up failing. Others call it dumb luck.
Contact Information:
During the day, Henry is likely in the field. He's all but abandoned his upscale, NY apartment in exchange for monster-ridden bounty hunting and freelance security work in more dangerous locales. In the evening, he can be spotted at The Crusades or The Horned God...Typically under the influence.
Next-of-Kin (optional):
Henry's father is his only known living relative; he's only sure of his continued existence thanks to the wonder of Illuminati tracking technology.

1. How much experience do you have with roleplaying? Have you played other MMORPGs? There's no wrong answer here.
I've been RPing for roughly...15 years? I've been at it since I was 10, starting off with low-scale D&D campaigns and writing stories. I got into the Yahoo! Chat Room RP groups for some time before growing bored and eventually translated my love of pretending to be other people into actual games. I did a long stint in WoW, SW:TOR, GW, GW2, and in TSW Davenport used to be in a guild with a heavy-RP bent...Most of the above actually follows the dissolution of that cabal. I was also an Officer in several WoW guilds; raid leading as it were. I've played a tank in every MMO thus far and that's what I prefer to be doing: Getting punched in the face.
Also, as to that previous cabal: Oculi Omniscentia. Cecily was a member there as well and I'm not above name-dropping. I recently became re-involved with TSW and would like to be with a solid, fun cabal!
2. What has brought your character to the group? Do you have any stories/ideas that you hope to develop for them as they progress through the game, and if so, what are they?
To answer your first question: Cecily. To further answer that question: That wrestling promotion you guys started. Holy crap, that's awesome. I'm not sure Davenport would be a willing...er...Sober participant, but WOW that's an incredibly unique idea. xD As for stories/ideas? Davenport's story is whatever happens to him. To explain for his most recent absence, he has been seeing images of long-lost cabal-mates...Forcing some of his Illuminati betters to curb this behavior by putting him through some exceptionally rough detoxification protocols. Right now? He lacks the sense of belonging he had and its made him much less dependent on people, but more dependent upon substances. Now, his lack of business credentials doesn't make him a 100% fit for a company like AEgir, but he has a background in providing security detail for worse situations than a couple of suits involved in relatively innocuous business practices. Also, his ties to Cecily could lead to inclusion on that front...If you're down with that sort of thing, of course! I'm flexible and my only real concern is maintaining continuity with the character.
3a. Fill in the blank: If my character were to meet an Eldritch Horror From Beyond Space And Time, he would call it names and make it angrier...And then run away, presumably screaming.
3b. Fill in the blank: If I were to meet an Eldritch Horror From Beyond Space And Time, I would start worshipping immediately. CTHULHU FTAGHN.
4. How did you find out about us, and how would you like for us to contact you in-game?
I found out about you through Cecily and after she mentioned you, I started looking stuff up about you through TSW-RP and the like. Sounds like a bunch of cool cats you've got holed up in here and I'd like in with an involved community such as yours.
5. Have you ever wanted a chance to just say whatever you'd like to about yourself to a group of anonymous strangers over the internet? If so, here's your chance!
I'm an extremely laid-back person and VERY easy to get along with. Nothing really upsets me, not even multiple wipes on easy bosses in dungeons. I get on the game to have fun, RP in an extremely cool setting, and hang out with other chill folks. You guys seem like pretty chill folks.
EDIT: Misspelled "FTAGHN". It's harder than it looks; at least that's my excuse.
