Online Employment Application:
Thank you for your interest in joining the team at AEgir Incorporated,a group of dedicated professionals specializing in extraordinary situations.
To ensure prompt processing of your application, please answer the following questions:
Name (including aliases as appropriate): Isabelle Vinciguerra (a.k.a. Accetta)
Age/Gender: 30/Female
Position Desired: Field Investigations/Security
Relevant Skills: Experience in dealing with both the underworld and law enforcement, often simultaneously. Excellent at extracting information at a variety of levels of intensity. Trained and experienced in small-arms and small-unit combat, particularly in an urban environment.
Relevant Background Information: Born in Marseilles, 1982. Some early close calls with the authorities were probably responsible for her deciding that she would do better with a badge than without, and she enlisted with the Gendarmerie Nationale straight out of school.
After serving with the Gendarmerie Mobile's 6th Legion based in her home town for three years, Vinciguerra was transferred to a Criminal Investigation unit operating out of Paris. This transfer came after an incident in Calvi, Corsica in which she was one of only two members of her seven-man detachment to survive an encounter with what reports describe as a major arms-smuggling operation. Proper analysis of the official reports suggest that they were sanitized to conceal a less publically palatable reality, most probably involving a Deep One cult.
CR3, the investigation unit to which she was attached, was nominally formed to investigate increased co-ordination between organized criminal and terrorist elements across France, but in reality its purview was investigating the increasing incidence of apparently supernatural occurences. Although her primary function with CR3 was that of doorkicker, she did gain considerable investigative and combat experience during her attachment. It was also during this time that she first came into (unwitting) contact with both the Illuminati and the Templars, both of whom found her quite willing to hand over official records and otherwise smooth the path of illicit activity in exchange for remuneration.
In mid-2007 she resigned from the GN barely ahead of an Inspector-General's investigation of corruption and bribery allegations against the Paris office. Returning to Marseilles she re-established contact with a number of criminal groups with whom she had done business while with the 6th Legion and found gainful illegal employment within a week of her resignation.
Clever, ruthless and brutal, she flourished in her new career as she never had before. Starting out in information gathering and investigation, she cultivated a reputation for quick, efficient performance and found her more martial skills in increasing demand. After a particularly savage confrontation during an investigation in Naples she acquired the nickname 'Accetta' (Hatchet), and the nom-de-guerre stuck.
Her services were employed on a number of occasions during the next four years by Templar and Illuminati agents in need of a disposable front. When one of her jobs made the Western Mediterranean a little too hot for her, the Illuminati took the opportunity to formalize the arrangement by offering her an out with only one little explosive string attached.
Contact Information: Goes through disposable cellphones faster than she does cigarettes.
Next-of-Kin (optional): Georges and Arianne Vinciguerra, parents

Thanks for applying! We're a group of roleplayers who find MMORPGs more fun to play when the roles of our characters are more fully developed than a list of numbers to define their survivability and damage. Members of the group will be expected to play and converse in-character (IC) for group activities, using notation such as (( )) around text intended to be out-of-character (OOC) so that it's clearly recognizable. We're seeking players who are mature, low-drama, and interested in character development as well as game progression!
Please take a minute to look over our Rules And Tone page--there's not a lot of rules, but if you're part of the group, you'll be expected to follow the few rules that we've got while you're representing us with the group's handle.
To help us get a feel for who you are and what you'd like to get out of being part of the group, please answer the following questions:
1. How much experience do you have with roleplaying? Have you played other MMORPGs? There's no wrong answer here.
I have more roleplaying experience than many men less than half my age! Mostly pen and paper, but some in other MMOs such as CO, STO, LOTRO and NATO.
2. What has brought your character to the group? Do you have any stories/ideas that you hope to develop for them as they progress through the game, and if so, what are they?
She likes money and the Illuminati pay well for her skills without setting too many boundaries. She doesn't like boundaries (at least, not ones imposed from without). As far as personal stories go, for now at least she's more Supporting Cast. No doubt opportunities shall arise.
3a. Fill in the blank: If my character were to meet an Eldritch Horror From Beyond Space And Time, he/she would probably pop smoke and run - for what it's worth.
3b. Fill in the blank: If I were to meet an Eldritch Horror From Beyond Space And Time, I would probably do what I usually do, and ask for the rent.
4. How did you find out about us, and how would you like for us to contact you in-game?
I don't blame Fitz! And am mad as heck about it! But yeah, it was Sersi. In-game, well, however it works in this Strange New Secret World. I should be Accetta, or if that is somehow taken (by no means out of the question!) Hachette.
5. Have you ever wanted a chance to just say whatever you'd like to about yourself to a group of anonymous strangers over the internet? If so, here's your chance!
The chance I've been waiting for! The moment I've lived for! I can say anything I want and nobody can st
