Relevant Background Information:
Physical Presence:
Ammie comes across as a person who is lost on purpose. She lives without care, and pays no attention to the rules of society.
Her method of dress and personal care reflect this. She dresses how she wants to in the moment, portraying different facets of herself on a whim. On some days she'll spend hours on makeup. On others, she'll wear none at all.
Through it all, her piercing blue eyes shine brightly, with a look of taunting defiance. She is often playful, and loves to laugh, drink, and party.
She loves the company of strangers, and throws herself into dangerous situations, trusting in her uncanny luck and powerful ritualistic blood magick to save her if things go wrong.
History:
Amaryllis Wicker is the younger sister of the brilliant demonologist Theodore Wicker. As a teenager, she assisted her brother in his research, and observed excitedly as he stumbled from one arcane text to another, unearthing the hidden history of Hell. In 1977, after a series of largely dismissed lectures at the London Museum of the Occult, Theodore left Ammie behind to travel the world in search of a way to reach across the dimensional borders. Shortly thereafter, he vanished from the public eye.
Inspired by her beloved brother's passion, and wishing to feel their connection again, Ammie studied the occult on her own, becoming a fervent student of hermetic magick, blood witchcraft, and the enochian language. Theodore's letters and phone calls came less and less frequently, and finally stopped alltogether. In 1987 she received a postcard from New England containing a strange and broken farewell. She set out to track him down, convinced that he was in danger. She followed his trail for weeks, but her memory of that time is clouded and broken. A haze of smoky images later, she woke in the spring of the year 2012, having not aged a day. She soon found that her body had been filled with Anima, and discovered not only how to use it to power her existing blood magicks, but how to control the elements as well.
Although the truth is still hidden from Ammie, the events of this "missing time" can be read HERE.
Over the next few months, she acclimatized to the new world around her. One day, a mysterious woman named Bong Cha contacted her, and brought her to Seoul for training in the control of her new powers. After hearing her story, Bong Cha pointed her in the direction of Kingsmouth, to search for a reporter by the name of Bach.
Bach's research into Wicker's trail was far more extensive than Ammie's own, and with his help she managed to gather the history of Theodore's road to Hell, as well as clues into his motivations. With leads to go on, she set out to hire a team of investigators familiar with the Secret World to escort her into the infernal realms in his pursuit. Her goal was to rescue him from the other side, even if she gives up her own life to do it. The text of these travels with the members of Aegir can be found in THIS THREAD.
Since returning, Ammie has found her very first true friends and first love among the members of Ægir Communications, and put her vast knowledge of the infernal matters and ritual magick to use among them with unwavering loyalty.
In her down time, she pushes for the establishment of what started as a running joke and took off: the Holy Church of Hedonism, a loose group of party-loving people who pursue the fullest enjoyment of life, freedom, and "ethical hedonism".

1. How much experience do you have with roleplaying? Have you played other MMORPGs? There's no wrong answer here.
I've been roleplaying in a variety of tabletop games since 1993, including D&D (ad&d 2nd, 3rd ed, 3.5, Pathfinder), GURPS, Hero System, White Wolf (esp M:tA), Champions, In Nomine, Shadowrun, Rifts, Deadlands, Feng Shui, Earthdawn, Star Wars (west end and D20), Cthulhu (chaosium and D20)......I'm sure there's more.
As far as MMO's, I started on Final Fantasy XI in 2004, and have since played World of Warcraft (for years), SW:tOR, and tried various others. I RP'd heavily in WoW until IRL circumstances forced me to flee Azeroth, probably forever.
2. What has brought your character to the group? Do you have any stories/ideas that you hope to develop for them as they progress through the game, and if so, what are they?
Ammie's story is closely tied to Aegir. When she returned from seeking her brother, she found herself without direction, since her only motivation for years had been removed. Aegir gave her a job and a family, taught her what it meant to have friends and loved ones, and saved her from falling into a self-destructive spiral. She owes them everything, and would do anything to help them succeed.
3a. Fill in the blank: If my character were to meet an Eldritch Horror From Beyond Space And Time, he/she would probably __________.
"Ennie? En'yar'lyoth? Seriously, mate, you've got to put down the screaming lady and stop breaking buildings. What's up with ya? Are things okay with Helen? You wanna grab a cuppa and talk it out? You'll have to take a semi-human form, but I know a spot called Darkside where no one will really notice. Come on, .....no...no, you can't bring her. Just you and me, let's go get some nice tea."
3b. Fill in the blank: If I were to meet an Eldritch Horror From Beyond Space And Time, I would probably __________.
Stare smiling into the face of my very probable doom, and try to snap a picture on my phone. I'd love to see something that would expose the supernatural world. Prolly still die. But, you know.
4. How did you find out about us, and how would you like for us to contact you in-game?
Ammie met this awesome guy Carl in a bar one night. He introduced her to his boss and coworkers, and asked if she wanted to try them with the case of the search for her brother. It worked out.
Send me a tell. Or PM me here. Or twitter. Or email. Or Enjin.
5. Have you ever wanted a chance to just say whatever you'd like to about yourself to a group of anonymous strangers over the internet? If so, here's your chance!
Yep. I'll tell you guys what I say when I run into one.
