As most of you might have heard by now, I will be acting as Interim Chief of Security now that Mr. Jean Martinique has moved on with his career. He has overseen the security of the company since our establishment of closer ties with our corporate Sponsors, and has ably defended this company and its employees during multiple crises, the Sentaxx case among them. His presence, though often unseen, was felt in the confidence we had in our safety, be it within the Solvall or on the field. I wish him the best in his future endeavors.
Security will function as smoothly as it always has during this transition. Our personnel remains some of the best this field has to offer and I have no doubts regarding their dedication and professionalism.
That said, I will not be an unseen figure that only makes their presence known during crises. When I first joined the ranks of AEgir Security, I was told that Security was Family. It meant that we looked out for one another, and helped one another excel. With that mindset, Security has grown resilient and strong. From this day moving forward, I extend that same sense of community and support to all of you. AEgir is Family, and I will ensure that we are here to help and support each and every one in this company, so that we all excel.
In light of this new paradigm, I will be offering self-defense courses to any employee with the desire. Our responsibilities within the company sometimes takes us to potentially dangerous locales, and it is Security's responsibility to ensure that everyone is suitably prepared for the task. I urge all interested employees to respond as soon as possible.
If there are any other questions or concerns, my door will always be open to you.
