Thank you for your interest in joining the team at AEgir Incorporated,a group of dedicated professionals specializing in extraordinary situations.
To ensure prompt processing of your application, please answer the following questions:
Name (including aliases as appropriate): Reyna Le Santo
Age/Gender: 26ish, Female
Position Desired: Security/Operative
Relevant Skills: Military training, an impressive capacity for alcohol, statistical anomaly.
Relevant Background Information:
She moves in a manner that shows training, when she can be bothered to do so. Her smile never quite reaches her eyes. A practicing (if amateur) Catholic, a crucifix of an unusual design and metal is always found around her neck, if hidden by clothing.
She was a Teniente in the Mexican Army a few years ago, when a drugs raid went... Wrong. She refuses to speak of the matter, though the night terrors and the alcohol dependency provide some hints. Research into it leads you to information about a terrorist bombing in Monterrey that demolished an abandoned block of flats while a raid was occouring.
What she does know, and will complain about at length to those who'll listen is that she later woke up in an Illuminati facility. They'd picked her up as the survivor and then started to poke and prod her and her history.
To cut a long and increasingly rambling story short, she now finds herself in New York, with a fairly shaky grip on the english language, a drinking problem and an employment letter.
Contact Information: [REDACTED]@[REDACTED]
Next-of-Kin (optional): None she'll talk about.
((OOC section))
Thanks for applying! We're a group of roleplayers who find MMORPGs more fun to play when the roles of our characters are more fully developed than a list of numbers to define their survivability and damage. Members of the group will be expected to play and converse in-character (IC) for group activities, using notation such as (( )) around text intended to be out-of-character (OOC) so that it's clearly recognizable. We're seeking players who are mature, low-drama, and interested in character development as well as game progression!
Please take a minute to look over our Rules And Tone page--there's not a lot of rules, but if you're part of the group, you'll be expected to follow the few rules that we've got while you're representing us with the group's handle.
To help us get a feel for who you are and what you'd like to get out of being part of the group, please answer the following questions:
1. How much experience do you have with roleplaying? Have you played other MMORPGs? There's no wrong answer here.
Some, more or lots, as researched thoroughly over several years in various places. Including some with you guys, which you all seem to have run away and almost totally disappeared from.
2. What has brought your character to the group? Do you have any stories/ideas that you hope to develop for them as they progress through the game, and if so, what are they?
She's been shipped here by the Illuminati as an Interesting Person as she's seen Too Much and Capitalised A Lot of Things. She's a bit of a statistical blip as far as weird stuff goes. She's hardly a fan of the Illuminati, but can't really get *out* of the job.
Development? Well, hopefully she'll get better at English.
3a. Fill in the blank: If my character were to meet an Eldritch Horror From Beyond Space And Time, he/she would probably __________.
Shoot it. A lot. Then walk around the corner and freak the hell out before going to the bar.
She's done this before.
3b. Fill in the blank: If I were to meet an Eldritch Horror From Beyond Space And Time, I would probably __________.
Not go insane. If you accept they're real you're perfectly safe except for the greebles and the claws.
4. How did you find out about us, and how would you like for us to contact you in-game?
ha-ha-ha. Also Abella is the in-game nickname.
5. Have you ever wanted a chance to just say whatever you'd like to about yourself to a group of anonymous strangers over the internet? If so, here's your chance!
Seffs is Seffs. Immutably. Also does videos.
