An actual "I Win" button that automatically kills whatever you're fighting? Yeah, probably not....

Clearing the Path is not a simple --
Okay, fine, it is. But try not ta say it so loudly!
Also, didn't find the reticule targeting in STO so bad. Less usable and more motion-sickness inducing than plain old tab-targeting, sure, but it was fun for a lark. I'll grant that it certainly didn't revolutionize combat nearly so much as the plethora of other changes Cryptic made at the same time did.
But hey! I'll wait for test server footage.

the biggest fix they hit ground combat in STO with was the fact they made it be mercifully short and not take 5 hours to kill anything any more, but I agree the shooter style controls were ok for a change but never really worked as well as anyone hoped

...well. this news is disappointing.
i forsee 70% of the population never using it, 20% complaining that it isn't force on everyone, and 10% comparing it to the SWG NGE update.

On the other hand, a theater to put on RP plays? Investigation-based group content? YES and YES! ;D

And chainsaws! Let's not forget them! A down-home girl like Cider probably knows how to use a chainsaw. >.>

I actually preferred the shooter-style targeting in STO, but that's just me. Can't wait to see what other Aux weapons come down the line, considering the wheel has 3 subsections for each Ranged, Melee and Magic
