So, this happened tonight, and it was awesome.
We're in the Crusades, and Angel's wandered over to Shay and Ammie's table looking for intelligent conversation. So we turned on the BS for her, full-blast.
[Yomikaze]: So. I was reading over the trans-dimensional pacification membrane surrounding the point of singularity on a Crowley binding matrix? Right? And how it resonates with the general leyline patterns of the surrounding geostream....
Angelman just continues to drink, trying to look like she's understood.
[Yomikaze]: And I was like....'Jesus, why not invert the chakra flow to intercept the bleed-off ki as chi, and drip it away into a Flamel caduceus array.' I mean....right?
[Shay]: Was that the treatise of arcanstruct manufacturing techniques using 5th dimensional quantum rites in thelemic paradigms?
[Yomikaze]: No, no....just 4th dimensional. 5th dimensional arcanastruct is bullshit, and it never works.
[Shay]: Well I think the point was to utilize self manifesting thought forms as a sort of sigil based ritual!
[Yomikaze]: Yeah, but most of the thought forms commonly available will metastasize into an inverted wave-form resonance in this application, and you can cut yourself off from your anima. Which...y'know...that'd be that.
[Shay]: Well NOT if you could first set up a hermetic self sustaining Animic loop!
Shay really wishes she had a pipe, monocle and top hat.
[Yomikaze]: Hermetic self-sustenance involves lashing the array to a demon and torturing the poor thing for its anti-anima. That's cruel. Or you could use an angel, I guess, but that's pretty bad too.
[Shay]: Well they are doing interesting things with synthetic anima batteries these days, and really you ONLY need the catalyst, and enough of Gnostic amplitude to get it started!
Angelman spends her time looking at Shay confused, her probably being the least capable person she knows of carrying on a conversation about magical rituals.
