Bloody hell that was quick. www.thesecretworld.com/news/state_of_the_game_july_2012so things that stood out to me were the things that go boom (Auxiliary weapons) because you can never go wrong with a bit o' boom The Player-Versus-Player Dungeon. Now I know not many people are into PvP but PvP is something I like to take part of in MMO's every now and then (the only exception is CO...) being an ex-DAoC player I absouletly loved the Darkness Falls the PvP Dungeon so I'm kinda looking forward to this. and finally the point about the Albion Theater's functionality, that could be interesting... What do you guys think?

I do so cringe whenever I hear a vendor tell me how much I like their product. That said, I do like TSW, so I'm rather happy to see that they have a fairly decent grocery list, complete with not a few estimated dates. This is good, not just for the stuff being offered in and of itself but for the level of dev support it indicates.
So, optimism retained. Score. Now have they fixed those chat issues yet?

I haven't checked but here it's better but not fixed. hopefully that gets done, and the new stuff DOES seem exciting.

New stuff is always good, particularly new stuff like new powers and zones and things to do.
I personally haven't done enough PvP here to know how much I'm going to like it, but my current guess is that it will heavily favor people who play a single character who has every skill maxed out, since it's possible in this game to HAVE a character who literally has every single skill in the game.
That will mean serious pwnage on altaholics like me, methinks...

I'm not sure if they are talking new powers, per say. they kept saying "auxiliary" weapons. im gonna be pesimestic and assume that is more like the flame thrower, and possibly be pleasantly surprised later.
really it's the new customization options I'm excited for
